Month Stickers

To track my newest little ones growth I made month stickers.  I simple used clip art added text and ran them through a sticker machine.

 

These are some that show off the stickers the best. There is a few things I would do different if I did it again.

1. I wouldn't try to match the month with the sticker I would add things to the background

2. I would also focus more on the number, like the 1st month.

3. I would use different colored onesie and maybe an outfit

Fast, fun skirts

I found a fun tutorial here on what she called a square circle skirt but I have also heard it called a handkerchief skirt.  Anyways she has a great tutorial and I encourage you to check it out and make the skirt. I really only made one change I added a second layer of fabric. They really are easy and fast I have made 5 of them now however most of them have been given away and I didn't take any pictures. So I go this one out of little ones closet and took a picture 

 it is still looking good for being over a year old

Oh and first thing I have learned about my crafting self---I really like to make skirts good thing I have been blessed with two little girls.

Christmas Gifts

This year I made advent calendars for my husbands family I only took a few pictures but they were a blast to make and a challenge to make them all unique and different. I really wish I would have taken more pictures there were some that were not traditional colored and super FUN!

Made the girls matching dresses they were lots of fun to make and big sis' dress used lots of fabric

My Nana passed away this year so for Christmas my mom and I made this for my step-dad. 

 We took a board and spray painted it. Then the white board all ready had the groves in it. It is a special type of board I think it starts with a W.  Anyways we took that and a paper towel dipped in brown paint and smeared it to give it the rugged look.  Then we took a picture of my step-dad and his siblings and a brochure from the funeral and got plexiglass cut just bigger then the picture and brochure and used acorn nuts and bolts to attach it to the frame. Lastly we got some beads and hot glue and got a little crazy.

Made some letter pillows for some family friends.

Cork coaster, I cut wine corks in half and hot glued them on to cork board and bamm a cork coaster 

Made a few other simple things for family year to make it another homemade Christmas.

Tutu Birthday Party

We had a princess/ballerina party.

I made tutus for all the little girls 

I made about 20 of these for little ones friends

and a special one for the Birthday Girl

I could never get into the the crafting for baby mood but I did manage to make this bib for baby

 and a diaper bag for me.

We couldn't leave big sister out so I made her a new dress

The I let little one pick fabric for a dress for her and well it was an interesting combo but it looked cute on her and it has a special meaning behind it.

Bow frame

With one little girl and another one on the way headbands and bow are every where so I found this blog post and talk my husband into helping

Finished project

We had to break out the power tools to attach the hooks and even then it wasn't easy
