Littlest Pet Shop Birthday

We had a very fun Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Party for our oldest.  We made a store front with cardboard and spray paint. We cut out windows and used pipe cleaners to make flowers, sadly weather made us move it inside but it was still fun to play in.

One of our pet themed activities was to decorate a "dog biscuit" sugar cookie in the shape of a bone.
There were some interesting cookies and the disposable table cloth was a lifesaver.

Birthday girl eating her cookie I mean dog biscuit

We also used paper gift bags from the wedding section of the dollar store to make pet shops for each kid. I had crayons, stickers, glue, scissors, and paper for them to use.
Also had karaoke so they could sing like Zoe.
And the biggest request of a little girl was a pinata
so we put it in the garage and put sheets over the shelves so candy did get stuck on them

And last but not least the CAKE

A Princess Halloween

A little girl found a pattern for a princess dress that she really wanted for Halloween so we got matching princess dresses

and little one got a hat

Having fun in her costume!

I didn't make her costume but that smile is so cute I had to show it off

A hoot of a party

We did an owl themed party with lots of small touches and amazing food!!
I really just made two big crafts
Birthday banner I had to cut out the letters because I don't have an awesome cutter.

First quilt I have ever made.

So these two things I didn't make but they really added to the party and a great family friend did make them
Notice that fabric in her shirt matches the quilt!

Month Stickers

To track my newest little ones growth I made month stickers.  I simple used clip art added text and ran them through a sticker machine.

These are some that show off the stickers the best. There is a few things I would do different if I did it again.
1. I wouldn't try to match the month with the sticker I would add things to the background
2. I would also focus more on the number, like the 1st month.
3. I would use different colored onesie and maybe an outfit

Fast, fun skirts

I found a fun tutorial here on what she called a square circle skirt but I have also heard it called a handkerchief skirt.  Anyways she has a great tutorial and I encourage you to check it out and make the skirt. I really only made one change I added a second layer of fabric. They really are easy and fast I have made 5 of them now however most of them have been given away and I didn't take any pictures. So I go this one out of little ones closet and took a picture

it is still looking good for being over a year old

Here are some pictures of her showing it off shortly after I made it
The only picture I can find where you can see the whole skirt

Oh and first thing I have learned about my crafting self---I really like to make skirts good thing I have been blessed with two little girls.
